Pontins 2003

On the weekend of the 29th March 2003, WKD Phoenix Network in Wellingborough and headlands VSU attended a weekend away at Pontins in Lowestoft, Norfolk, organised by Derbyshire Venture Scouts. They laid on activities such as Football, Basketball, Karaoke and many more. On The Saturday there was a fancy dress theme, as the pictures and movies will show, groups dressed up from the Jamaican Bobsleigh team to the Osbournes. You'll be pleased to know that our 'A' side came 2nd place in the 5 a side football tournament and the 'B' side should have gone through, but as always, due to some abysmal refereeing that wasn't possible ;). Everyone enjoyed themselves and are planning to go again next year.
